Facebook users who like to play games on their smartphone can now access the Facebook App Center, which has now launched with more than 600 social apps.
It includes more than just games -- there are fashion, food, fitness, travel, or other lifestyle apps. Software that's being highlighted in the launch includes Nike+ GPS, Ubisoft Ghost Recon Commander, Stitcher Radio, Draw Something, and Pinterest.
When people use this feature, they will have a personalized experience built around recommendations from Facebook based on the apps they and their friends use.
The company promises users that they will only see high quality apps, based on user ratings and engagement.
The Facebook App Center is available now for the iPhone and Android-based smartphones at m.facebook.com/appcenter. It will be integrated into the stand-alone Facebook app at some point soon.
