Celebrate Father's Day today and tomorrow by picking up a free 4G smartphone courtesy from T-Mobile. This includes both Android devices and Windows Phones.
For these two days only, T-Mobile will be offering all of its smartphones that support its speedy 4G HSPA+ network for free -- including the HTC One S, the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Nokia Lumia 710, the BlackBerry Bold 9900, and the HTC Amaze 4G.
New and existing eligible customers can take advantage of the sale after signing a new two-year contract on any qualifying unlimited Classic plan. Customers will initially have to pay the regular price for the handsets out of pocket, but will receive a mail-in rebate card for the same amount.
Other smartphones included in this deal include the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, the HTC Radar 4G, the Samsung Exhibit 4G, the T-Mobile myTouch Q, the T-Mobile myTouch, and the LG DoublePlay.
While Fathers' Day is certainly a good reason for a sale, this carrier might also be hoping to clear out its stock of older models just before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III, which is expected to be the biggest-selling Android smartphone of this year. T-Mobile is scheduled to introduce its version of Samsung's latest flagship phone next week.
