Verizon's latest Android smartphone goes by the slightly ponderous name of HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. This sports a mid-range price and a featureset to match.
It is selling for $150 with a new two-year customer agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. The device can be found at Verizon stores and on this carrier's website.
Product Overview
The third model in the "Incredible" series is solidly in the mid-range - none of its features are particularly high-end or entry-level. Still, it should appeal to those looking for a capable smartphone.
It runs Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The device has the HTC Sense 4.0 user interface layered on top.
This handset has 4-inch display with a qHD (960 x 540) resolution. It includes an adequate 1GB of RAM, but for storage users will depend almost entirely on a microSD memory card, which the user will have to provide.
In the fun department, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE features Beats Audio, an 8MP rear-facing camera, plus a front-facing one that can be used for video chatting. In addition to supporting Verizon's speedy 4G LTE network, the handset has Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA, and Bluetooth 4.0. It comes with a 1,700mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery.
