Olympic Action Goes Mobile with iLondon 2012 for iOS

On our sister site TabletPCReview, we showed you the NBC Olympic Live Extra app that provided users with live streams and additional information geared at giving you everything you need to stay connected with this year's Summer Games. While the app looks great, there was one catch: it requires a pre-existing cable, telco, or satellite account to access a large majority of the content. Thus, if you find yourself without a required account (or you're just an Olympic fanatic who can't get enough London 2012 action) you'll love LMSolutions new app, iLondon. iLondon provides real time information and stat tracking to Apple users for the price of $1.99 USD (for v3.0).

This truly is a stat trackers dream, allowing users to easily follow all of the Summer Olympic Games' medals and events results with real time results of the collective sports. The app makes sure that you don't miss your favorite events, allowing users to schedule event reminders to the device calendar. News junkies will welcome the direct link to Olympic news, which feeds directly from the official Olympic event website. iLondon also makes for a good TV companion, providing additional information such as a full list of athletes by sport/company, or a detailed list of Olympic records.

The iLondon app is a universal app that is supported in English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish and is available on the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. The app can be found available in the iTunes App store under the Sports Category.
