Nokia City Lens is officially out of beta and now available in the Windows Phone Marketplace for select Lumia models.
Nokia City Lens, which we spent some time with last week at Nokia's event for the Lumia 920 and 820, is augmented reality app that uses the phone's camera to display one's surroundings with an overlay that indicates nearby points of interest. Distances are shown, and places that are closer to your current location have bigger icons than those further off in the distance.
Now that the software is out of beta, customers can download it for free for the Lumia 900, Lumia 800, and Lumia 710. A separate version of City Lens specifically for the Lumia 920 and 820 is currently in development.
