AT&T To Carry HTC One X+ and One VX

Shortly after HTC gave the One X+ an official reveal, AT&T followed up with an announcement that it plans to not only carry the One X+, but also a lower-spec, mid-range smartphone from HTC called the One VX.

Of its more modest features, the One VX, pictured here, has a slightly smaller display than the 4.7-inch screen of the One X+, instead sporting a 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD2 display. Its OS will also be a step down, as the One VX will ship with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), with an upgrade to version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) coming later.

Other specs for the One VX include a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, NFC, 8 GB of internal storage, and LTE connectivity. One edge that the One VX has over the One X+ is that it is lighter at 4.4 ounces, though it's also marginally thicker at 0.36 inches thick.

Like the One X+, the One VX has yet to be priced or given a release date, though it's likely the information will come soon with the holidays around the corner.
