Yesterday, Samsung Mobile announced that Verizon Wireless will introduce the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II in the coming weeks. The handset will offer a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, and a full five-row sliding QWERTY keyboard -- making it one of the few smartphones with a physical keyboard.
It will also offer a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and the device will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), plus it will offer S Beam using near-field communications (NFC) to easily share media with other compatible devices.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II will be available online and on Verizon Wireless in the coming weeks, but Verizon did not say exactly when. The device will be offered for $130 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
