Google Nexus 4 Available Again

LG has been having trouble keeping up with demand for the Nexus 4, Google's new flagship smartphone. It has been out of stock almost since its launch day, but a new shipment has come in.

This phone -- the first with Android 4.2 -- can now be ordered from T-Mobile. It sells for $200 with a two-year contract.

The Nexus 4 is also listed in Google Play. This version is sold unlocked starting at $300 without a contract... when it's available. Currently, a note on the Google Play site says, "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon." Many of those who pre-ordered this handset when it debuted two weeks ago were informed that they will get their unit in a few days.

Nexus 4 Overview

This handset built by LG sports a 4.7-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution.

The Nexus 4 has a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM.

It runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), a new version that brings new features such as 360 degree panorama picture-taking capabilities and Gesture Typing, which lets users glide their finger over the letters they want to type on the keyboard.

The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing one.

Google Play has a version with 8GB of storage for $350, while a 16GB one is $350. T-Mobile's version has 16GB of storage.
