Google has introduced a significant upgrade for its Gmail app for iOS. This software has a redesigned user interface, as well as other improvements.
Perhaps the most important enhancements in Gmail 2.0 support for multiple accounts. In addition, it now offers profile pictures in messages, numerous new animations, and infinite scrolling in message lists.
Other changes include support for auto-complete when searching, plus the ability to RSVP to Google Calendar invites as well as +1 and comment on Google+ posts directly from the app.
Gmail 2.0 is now available for free in the iTunes App Store.
While the Gmail app is a nice addition, iOS users can also access emails from their Gmail accounts using the regular email app and POP3, IMAP, or Microsoft Exchange.
