It's been a long time in the making, but Research In Motion's first BlackBerry 10 device, codenamed "London," has finally been spotted in the flesh, and showed up in good pictures and video.
High-quality photos of the handset were posted on a Vietnamese forum earlier today, showing off a sleek build and a textured back akin to the one found on the PlayBook tablet. The device will be part of the L-Series, and include NFC support, a microSD card slot, and a 1,800 mAh battery. Other specs are currently unknown.
These photos from Tinhte.vn, which has a good reputation for publishing accurate details (and photos) of unannounced devices, come hot on the heels of RIM posting its first teaser image of the smartphone. The BlackBerry 10 OS will get its official reveal, however, at a press conference scheduled for January 30, along with RIM's first two BlackBerry 10 smartphones, one of which includes this L-Series device.
