Best Buy Offering Another Sale on the Samsung Galaxy S III

For holiday shoppers who missed out on Best Buy's one day special yesterday, where the Samsung Galaxy S III sold for $50 from the nation's four largest carriers, the electronic retailer is giving customers another chance to save, dropping the price of the popular handset once more.

While this sale doesn't boast price cuts of $150, Best Buy's latest Galaxy S III promotion still provides shoppers with some decent discounts. Sprint subscribers will save the most, as the 16GB third generation Galaxy S from Samsung is currently selling for $100 at Best Buy stores and online. Of course that price is reflective of a two-year contract, as a subscription is required in order for customers to receive the discount.

Verizon customers can pick up the 4G LTE-equipped smartphone for $150 thanks to Best Buy's sale, while those looking for more storage space can purchase the 32GB iteration on Big Red's network for $50 less than its usual $250 price tag.

Best Buy is also dropping the price of T-Mobile's version of the Galaxy S III, which beat out Apple's iPhone 4S for the most popular smartphone in the world in the 3Q12, to $180. Unfortunately, AT&T customers won't benefit from this sale, as the carrier's offering is still marked at $200 from Best Buy.

With all four carrier models now running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), the Galaxy S III is certainly one of the most high-end smartphones currently available, thanks to specs such as a 4.8-inch 1280x720 HD Super AMOLED display and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.

As always, Best Buy did not mention how long the promotion will last, so those still on the bench about purchasing the handset better act fast if they are looking to save this holiday season.
