With Christmas just around the corner, T-Mobile is offering customers another way to save on the season's hottest smartphones with its new "Zero Down Sale," where popular handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S III will cost $0 after a mail-in-rebate.
T-Mo's latest promotion is going on now and will run until Dec. 31, giving some shoppers the perfect opportunity to spend their holiday cash wisely. Of course, like many of the carrier's sales recently, the discounted smartphones are only available with the purchase of a qualifying Unlimited Value plan, Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan and a two-year commitment. The promotion is the latest in a string of sales meant to entice customers to switch to T-Mobile's Value agreements, as the carrier is planning to focus solely on the offerings in 2013.
As indicated in the name, the sale will offer handsets for next to nothing. In addition to Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Google Nexus 4 and HTC 8X will each cost $0 after a mail-in-rebate... that is, of course, after customers put down $150 in-store. Shoppers can also snag the Galaxy S Relay 4G and HTC One S for free after paying $100 at the time of purchase.
For those looking to save on devices with a little more screen real-estate, the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will both cost $100 after their respective mail-in-rebates.
As usual, each smartphone will require a monthly Equipment Installment Plan fee of $20, while Galaxy Tab customers will only have to pay $15 a month for the installation plan.
The promotion is not limited to new customers, as old subscribers willing to make the jump to a Value plan are also eligible.
