Large screen sizes may not be the only thing that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S IV and Note III share in common, as rumor has it that this company's next-generation flagship handset will also ship with full S Pen functionality.
According to PhoneArena, rumors have circulated from Korea suggesting that Samsung is looking to add full S Pen functionality to the Samsung Galax S4, something that the series has never had before.
Additionally, multiple sources have agreed that the Samsung Galaxy S IV is set to launch in April, which aligns with earlier predictions from Reuters and USB.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV is also rumored to offer a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, which seems more than likely now due to the addition of the S Pen. There are also whispers that the device will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and be powered by a quad-core Exynos 5540 chip manufactured using 28nm high-K metal gate technology.
Other details rumored about the upcoming device include a 13 megapixel rear auto-focus camera and a slightly slicker frame measuring at 9.2mm, again making the device more like the Note.
Samsung, has yet to make an official statement on these rumors and it is unlikely that we will know the full list of specs until MWC this February.
