Wilson Electronics Introduces Sleek 4G Signal Booster

Wilson Electronics has introduced a new signal booster at CES 2013, showcasing the Sleek 4G, which will be the first of the company's products to work interchangeably on all U.S. carrier's 4G networks, except for Sprint's WiMAX.

One of the best known manufacturers of such devices, Wilson Electronics launched the Sleek 4G-V and the Sleek 4G-A last year, though the boosters were limited in that they only supported the LTE networks of Verizon and AT&T, respectively. The Sleek 4G, however, will offer users interoperability for handsets, tablets and hotspots with all U.S. carriers' 4G networks (except WiMAX). The booster is also compatible with existing 3G and 2G voice and data networks.

Measuring in at 4.5-inches long by 2.5-inches wide and weighing just 3 ounces, the Sleek 4G is designed to be used on-the-go, though users can opt for an accessory kit that converts the device into an indoor booster suitable for the home or office. The accessory will also fit a variety of devices thanks to the three sets of extenders that will be bundled in the box.

The Sleek 4G will retail for $200 from Wilson, and will begin shipping next week. It is being demoed at CES 2013 this week.
