When the HTC ThunderBolt was released, it was a big deal -- Verizon's first 4G LTE smartphone. Of course, that was in 2011. But that's not to say this device is completely obsolete, as an upgrade to Google's Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has just been released.
And the device is not yet two years old. So with two-year contracts, there are surely still plenty of Verizon customers with one of these.
The new version brings features like lock-screen notifications, face unlock, easy homescreen folder creation, and much more.
Users can download Android 4.0 to their HTC ThunderBolt over the air, by going to Settings.
