Wisconsin-based SnowShoe has released an app that allows users to automate every-day tasks on an iOS device.
The Stamp Rocket app works with a physical stamp sold by the company that allows users to automate basic tasks. Users program the small plastic stamps to launch specific actions when touched to the Stamp Rocket app on a user's iOS device screen.
Users can send SMS messages, open an iTunes playlist, check a location, send an email, open an app, or even make a phone call via the Stamp Rocket system. Consumers are also able to post to Twitter or Facebook and check in on Foursquare by tapping the physical stamp to the iOS device screen with the app open.
Packs of five stamps are available for preorder now at $5, and will be shipped by March 31. According to the company, the price of a five-pack of stamps will rise to $25 USD after March 31. The Stamp Rocket app is available for free in the Apple App Store.
