Nokia is reportedly going to use next week's MWC smartphone tradeshow to take the wraps off an in-expensive Windows Phone.
Reuters says it was told by two sources that Nokia is going to announce a lower-cost model in its Lumia line. This will allegedly run Windows Phone 8, the latest version of Microsoft's operating system for smartphones.
Is This the Flame?
It's possible this will be the device that has appeared in previous rumors as the Nokia Flame.
Information leaking out of Nokia indicates that this handset will run Windows Phone 8 on a 1GHz dual-core processor, with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage capacity. This will be expandable with microSD memory card slots.
Other features are going to include a 4-inch display and a 5 megapixel camera, if leaked reports are correct.
The Flame is reportedly going to be offered by T-Mobile next month.
