The LG Optimus F5, which was announced just before MWC last month is reportedly heading to Verizon, but under a different name. Now dubbed the Lucid 2 (with the model number VS870), the new handset will offer a budget LTE alternative.
Verizon has not yet made an official announcement, but details of the LG Lucid 2 have leaked out.
The Hardware
The Lucid 2 will offer a 4.3-inch qHD display. The handset will also house a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon Krait processor and 1GB of RAM. It is expected to run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.
The device is going to include a 5MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture and a 2,150mAh battery.
As this launch has yet to be confirmed, neither Verizon nor LG has announced an official price point yet, but the device is rumored to available for purchase sometime next month.
