What you see at the right is not a picture of the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
Several images supposedly showing the design of Samsung's next flagship smartphone have been making the rounds on the Web. These are definitely not what this hotly-anticipated device will look like.
The images aren't fakes or a hoax -- they were created by the online phone retailer Expansys as placeholders for its product page for this upcoming Android smartphone.
However, the site initially didn't make this clear, and many assumed they were real. The retailer has since taken to Twitter to try and clear this up.
With the official announcement of the Galaxy S4 expected in just over a week, Samsung has done a surprisingly good job of keeping pictures of it under wraps. That might be why so many were willing to believe Expansys' renders were real.
They do conform to earlier rumors about this high-end handset, including the 5-inch display.
