Twitter today introduced new versions of its app for the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Among the changes is one that will make it easier to find relevant past Tweets when searching.
Search results will now include a Top Tweet. According to its developer, this will be "the best match for your query based on relevance and engagement."
Just for iOS
Twitter also added a couple features just for iPhone and iPad users. With the new version, when a link is opened from a Tweet, that Tweet is displayed at the bottom of the app's built-in web browser.
Autocomplete suggestions have also been improved, so when users are writing a message they will see more hashtag, topic and username suggestions as they type.
