Last week, an unconfirmed report indicated that Verizon would be offering HTC's flagship smartphone. This device maker says this isn't true.
A post on the official HTCUSA Twitter feed spelled it out in black and white: "The HTC One will not be available on the Verizon network".
All Things D recently said that an unnannmed source had indicated that this high-end model is headed for Big Red. It's still possible that the source was partially correct -- that HTC and Verizon are working on an Android model that's similar to the One, but not identical.
AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile will all be offering the HTC One. The release is likely to come next month.
