AT&T is about to introduce three new Mobile Share plans for those want to use a lot of wireless data, and aren't adverse to paying a lot for it.
With Mobile Share plans, an individual or group has a pool of data to draw from with their smartphones and/or tablets. The amount is set by how much the customer(s) are willing to pay.
Currently, the largest of these tiered plans offers 20GB of data for $200 a month. AT&T announced today that, starting March 22, customers will be able to go up to 30GB for $300 a month, 40GB for $400 a month, or 50GB for $500 a month.
These plans come with unlimited domestic talk and texts for smartphones, and each plan includes tethering.
Data-Only Options
Also on March 22, AT&T is going to launch Mobile Share - Data. These will be plans for businesses and consumers without unlimited talk or text but with shared data buckets ranging from 4 GB to 50 GB and prices ranging from $30 to $335 per month. These will not be available for phone, only tablets, laptops, etc.
