BlackBerry Z10 Now Available from AT&T

AT&T has just become the first U.S. carrier to make the BlackBerry Z10 available to all consumers, not just business buyers.

This device is the first with BlackBerry 10, a more consumer-friendly operating system than was previously offered by this company. 

It can be puchased through AT&T's website now, but only in a black casing. The telecom is charging $200 for the Z10 with a two-year contract. Non-contract pricing is $550.

T-Mobile and Verizon are going to introduce their own versions of this smartphone next week, but Sprint is not.

This is a touchscreen-centric device with a 4.2-inch, 1280 x 768 display. This gives it quite a respectable pixel density of 356 dpi.

It runs BlackBerry 10 on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, with 2GB RAM. There is a microSD memory card slot for removable storage.

The Z10 has 4G LTE support, and AT&T's version will be able to connect to it LTE network. The device also has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. Other features include an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front one, a micro-HDMI port and an 1800 mAH battery.
