Those who are looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy S IV are going to have to be patient, as most U.S. carriers haven't even announced when they are going to release this smartphone. Still, AT&T took a step closer today, when it revealed when it is going to start taking pre-orders on April 16.
The carrier did not say when it is actually going to release this device. A statement from AT&T says it is "Continuing our legacy as the first carrier to launch Samsung's Galaxy series", which implies it intends to have this device on its shelves before May 1, the day rival T-Mobile is going to introduce its version.
And the Price Is...
AT&T also reveled its price for Samsung's next flagship smartphone: $250 with a two-year contract. That's $50 above the typical price for a high-end handset. The Galaxy S III sells for $200 with contract, for example.
