On Wednesday T-Mobile announced via twitter that it would offer HTC's newest handset, the HTC One starting April 24. Well it appears that the twitter post only told half the story, as the carrier has made the new handset available for purchase starting today on the company's website. The HTC One is still set to hit brick-and-mortar stores on April 24, the same day as the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
As expected T-Mobile is offering the device for $100 with $20 monthly payments for 24 months, or users can buy the device at full price for $580.
About the HTC One
The HTC offers a 4.7-inch Corning Gorilla Glass display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The handset also comes equipped with a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600, 2GB or RAM, and a 2,300 mAh battery. The HTC runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense UI v.5, and houses a 4MP rear-facing camera.
