Nokia has released an official teaser for an announcement set to be made at 7 a.m. GMT on Wednesday morning, and from the looks of it, the company may be announcing a new mobile phone with a feature not seen much these days: a full QWERTY keyboard.
The company published an official blog post with an included image on its website this morning, advertising the announcement. The image shows a Z and Shift key, leading to the speculation that a new device with the dedicated keyboard may be on the way.
Following the official announcement, Neil Broadley, from Nokia's Mobile Phones team, will participate in a Q&A with a "special guest." Broadley's involvement suggests the product will come from within Nokia's Mobile Phones team, rather than those responsible for the Nokia Lumia.
The 7 a.m. wakeup call for those in the GMT, 3 a.m. EST, suggests a European or Asian launch of the device.
