Nokia announced that it will hold a special Lumia event in London on May 14. On Thursday, the handset manufacturer teased the press by releasing invitations to the event that read "see what's next". Further details beyond the date and general location were not provided.
Nokia normally unveils its flagship handsets later in the fall, so it raises the question: what will Nokia show? Nokia could potentially show off the rumored 41MP PureView Windows Phone, or possibly unveil a lower-end handset similar to the Lumia 520 or 620.
The Finnish company could even potentially unveil the Lumia 928, which is expected to hit Verizon retailers in May, though, as others have pointed out, it's unlikely Nokia would hold an event in the UK to announce a handset that's headed to US markets only.
The truth is, Nokia could show off any number of things. Maybe it will even show off the 5.5-inch phablet that it has been rumored to be working on. Looks like we'll have to wait till May 14 to see what Nokia has up its sleeve.
