Sony Reportedly Working on Two New Handsets

Sony is believed to working on two new handsets that will debut later this year, according to a Chinese website. Rumors suggest that one of those devices is a new 6.44-inch phablet with full HD display, codenamed Togari. The handset was originally expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress, but the device was unfortunately a no show and has remained under wraps since then.  

Sony's second smartphone, codenamed Honami, is expected to be a high-end device as part of the company's "One Sony" branding initiative. According to Chinese website ePrice, Honami will offer a 5-inch HD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 900 processor, with 2GB or RAM; and an impressive 20MP rear-facing camera complete with Cybershot CMOS sensor and Carl Zeiss lens. The device is also expected to offer a non-removable battery between 2,700 mAh and 3,000 mAh with dust and water resistance.

The Honami is expected to debut at the IFA tradeshow in September.
