UPDATE: @evleaks has sent out another tweet saying that the M4 has been confirmed for AT&T.
HTC just released its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One, to critical acclaim, but now users are getting a taste of what the company's upcoming midrange device might look like.
Users may have heard of the HTC M4 and now the device's specs and an image have reportedly leaked. Twitter user @evleaks posted a rumored picture of the device and it looks awfully similar to the HTC One. Some differences are apparent, such as the camera flash being moved to the center of the device and less speaker holes. The device's specs also point out it will likely have a smaller, 4.3-inch screen with 720 p resolution and the unibody may be of a cheaper build than the HTC One.
Other reported specs include a dial-core processor, LTE-capable radio and 16GB of storage. Initial leaks had the M4 hosting a 13-megapixel sensor, but rumors have also suggested the device may have a 4-megapixel sensor with UltraPixel technology.
HTC hasn't made any confirmations regarding the smartphone, but it's reportedly set to appear later this quarter.
