Now may be the best time to get your hands on the new HTC One. On Thursday HTC announced that it will host the HTC One weekend, offering a number of limited time trade-in deals to consumers looking to purchase the new flagship handset.
From May 2 to May 5, HTC will be offering bonus trade-in values on select handsets for consumers purchasing the HTC One. The deals include popular handsets such as the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S3, Blackberry Z10, Motorola Droid Razr, LG Optimus 4X HD, Blackberry Curve, and the Blackberry Bold.
HTC has noted that the values listed here are approximate values, but the site offering complete listings for the promotion states that users are guaranteed at least $100 upon trading in their old device.
HTC's special promotion is available through a number of US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Cincinnati Bell. Users purchasing the device from a national retail store will also be eligible for the promotion.
The HTC One offers a 4.7-inch Display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, with 2GB of RAM, and a 2,300 mAh battery. The HTC One runs Android OS 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), along with HTC Sense UI v.5, and houses a 4MP rear-facing camera.
