More information has leaked out about the rumored BlackBerry R10, which many have been speculating will be a budget alternative to the upcoming Q10. According to a recent report from Chinese site DGtle, though, the R10's specs aren't going to be drastically different than those of the Q10.
Like the Q10, the R10 is expected to have a 3.1-inch, 720 x 720 display, as well as 2 GB of RAM. For now, the only cutbacks that DGtle is reporting are a lower resolution, 5-megapixel camera (down from 8 megapixels) and a 1,800 mAh battery (down from 2100 mAh). Unfortunately, the website's report does not offer any other information about the device, like its processor or software, though the photos do at least confirm that it will, obviously, run BlackBerry 10 OS.
With BlackBerry Live conference coming up next week, chances are good that we'll hear more about the BlackBerry R10 -- including more specs, release information, and pricing -- soon enough.
