The Nokia Lumia 928 on Verizon Wireless that we've heard so much about has finally been confirmed, thanks to the magic of print media and an official image on Nokia's website.
An ad in a recent issue of Vanity Fair, seen below showed off an image of the phone with Verizon branding and a link to a Lumia 928 page on Nokia's website. The ad also featured a brief description of the phone's features, including Nokia's PureView technology, OIS, and a Carl Zeiss Lens.
Shortly thereafter, the page on Nokia's website went live, featuring the same image from the magazine, except without the Verizon branding and spec blurb, instead reading only, "Capture the highlights: Stay tuned for updates about the newest Nokia Lumia."
Chances are good the discrepancies between the two images are merely a case of Nokia attempting to keep at least some aspect of this reveal under wraps. The company has an event scheduled for May 14, at which point it's expected to give the Lumia 928 an official reveal, possibly among other announcements.
