Rumblings of a new LG device have been circulating the web over the last week, and it seems like LG is finally ready to spill the beans.
On Thursday Techradar reported that LG has sent out press invitations for an event on May 30 in Macau. The event will be held to unveil a new handset from LG, which is widely regarded to be the LG Optimus G Pro II. The press invitation's slogan "ImaGination Begins" places significant focus on the "G", further bolstering the idea that the company will reveal a successor to its current flagship device.
While there has been no confirmation on the specs this new handset will offer, we may have already gotten our first look at the device, as an unnamed LG device was leaked from @evleaks on Twitter on Monday. Additionally, on Tuesday an LG Optimus device with a 1080P display and Snapdragon 800 processor was spotted on Sprint's website
Could these leaks be tied to LG's newest handset? Seems likely, but we'll find out for sure on May 30.
