Following yesterday's news that Nokia may be working on a new Lumia phone, yet another unannounced, but rumored smartphone has been leaked. It's Samsung's turn this time, as both images and a video of the expected Galaxy S4 Active have emerged.
The images came first, with GSMArena showing off a device that looks different than the original Galaxy S4 but has almost identical specs. The Galaxy S4 Active is rumored to run a quad-core 1.9GHz processor with a Snapdragon 600 chipset and feature the same display size and resolution as the original Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy S4 Active is expected to simply be a tougher dust- and water-resistant version of its predecessor. The leaked images also indicate the Active will have an 8MP rear camera, which is a shift down from the 13MP rear camera on the Galaxy S4.
The images, along with a leaked video posted on MobileTechReview, depict the Galaxy S4 Active with a metallic shell with bolts on the back. The handset is also shown off with three hardware buttons below the screen, which are not featured on the currently available Galaxy S4.
