Google is continuing its rollout of the 27th generation of its Chrome browser. On Tuesday, Chrome 27 was released for the desktop. On Wednesday, it became available for Android devices.
Chrome 27 for Android brings full-screen support on smartphones and a tab history option on tablets. To view full-screen, users just scroll down the page and the toolbar will disappear.
To access the tab history feature on tablets, just press the back button on the browser for an extra second and a pop up menu will show the history.
Chrome 27 also integrates Google's "simpler searching," updating the search algorithms for Chrome.
Moreover, the new browser adds support for client-side certificates, which allows users to access sites requiring security certificates. As always, stability and performance fixes are also included.
