The general consensus is that both the Samsung Galaxy Note III and Sony's Z1 "Honami" phablet will be making their debut at IFA in Germany next week, but seeing as neither company has confirmed the devices' existences, there's no word yet on when they might actually be made available. That all changed today, when an anonymous tipster leaked information from Three UK that points to both devices being launched within a month.
The tipster, who claims to be an employee for the UK carrier, leaked a roadmap to Engadget that indicated that the Galaxy Note III will be available starting on September 16. The Sony Z1, meanwhile, is scheduled for a September 24 release, and the roadmap points out that both devices will see their official reveals on September 4 at their respective press conferences. This, of course, jives with previous reports.
While this is good news, it doesn't indicate much about when the Galaxy Note III and the Z1 will be hitting US networks (and whether they will arrive before or after markets in the UK release them). Still, it's a good sign that the devices will be coming in the very near future and shortly after they are announced next week.
