More details about the HP iPaq hx4700 have been released thanks to iPAQabilities, including a small picture. If this report is accurate, not only will the Hx4700 feature a 4" VGA screen, but it will also have Intel's latest 624 MHz processor and the first touchpad in a PDA.
According to their source, the Hx4700 will have the following specs:
- 624 MHz Intel processor
- 4" VGA screen
- Windows Mobile SE
- WiFi, Bluetooth and IR
- 128MB RAM, 64MB ROM
- CompactFlash and Secure Digital slots
- Touchpad
- 1800 mAh battery
HP is expected to release this unit, along with at least two others at some point in July. Pricing is unknown, but given HP's history, it's not unreasonable to expect a price point north of $600.
