HP, Logitech collaborate on Bluetooth headphones for iPaq
Okay, now I'm jealous. HP is rebranding a pair of Logitech Bluetooth headphones for use with the HP iPAQ line of Pocket PCs. There's no word yet on what models the new headphones will support, although the new iPaq 4700 is certainly going to be one of them. No word either on whether older iPaqs will be usable with the headphones. Shipments are supposed to begin later this year.
The really cool thing about these headphones is that unlike previous Bluetooth headphones, you don't need a transmitter plugged into the headphone jack on the Pocket PC--these connect natively to the iPaq's internal Bluetooth.

Forthcoming iPaq 6300 patch?
iPaq 6300 owners who are unable to send email with attachments over 1 kilobyte may soon find relief. Reports are that T-Mobile and HP are testing a patch for the problem, and that it should be available for download within a week. We shall see.
Symbol claims ownership of WiFi
Symbol Technologies is on the war path, claiming that all WiFi technology infringes on patents they bought, and they want 'compensation.' The company is seeking royalties of 6% from every vendor that sells a 802.11b or 802.11g product. That's one hell of a lot of money.
