Mobile Video
The EVO 4G has a number of features that make it a good option as as mobile movie player. Features that it’s rival lacks.

HTC EVO 4G from SprintFirst off there’s a simple but useful kickstand on the back. Combined with the 4.3-inch display, the EVO 4G is a decent way to watch movies on a long plane flight.

Second there’s a HDMI video-out port that allows you to hook the smartphone up to a TV or monitor with the right inputs, basically making the EVO 4G into a portable video player.

The 3.7-inch display on the Incredible is a decent option for watching mobile video, but the device lacks a kickstand and video-out port.

Video Chat
Sprint and HTC really pulled out all the stops with the EVO 4G. In addition to its other cutting edge features, it will soon be the first smartphone from a major carrier to support video conferencing.

Verizon has not yet opened up to the idea of video conferencing, and so the Droid Incredible doesn’t have a front-facing camera.

Aside from these difference, the HTC Droid Incredible and the HTC EVO 4G are practically identical.

Both run Google Android OS 2.1 on a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, use the HTC Sense user interface overlay, sport 8 megapixel cameras with a flash, and come with 8 GB of storage, Wi-Fi, GPS, and an array of other features. They even cost the same: $200 with a two-year service contract.

When considering which of these smartphones is better, the answer varies from person to person.

The EVO 4G has a better screen and WiMAX, while the Incredible is easier to carry around. And the EVO 4G’s WiMAX function is pointless if you don’t live in a place where Sprint is offering WiMAX. Still, the EVO 4G’s connection-sharing feature could save you a lot of money.
