ASUS is planning to release two Pocket PC models in 2004. The MyPal A8100 will be a Phone Edition device, while the My Pal A716 will offer both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
PROportable is now offering a folding keyboard for the Asus MyPal A620.
The Federal Communications Commission has given ASUSTeK permission to release a CompactFlash card that offers GPRS wireless service.
Mobile Planet is now shipping the Asus MyPal A620 in the United States. The A620 runs Windows Mobile 2003 on a 400 MHz Intel XScale processor and includes 64MB of memory.
ASUS is a Taiwanese electronics company best known for their motherboards. In the second quarter of next year they plan on adding to their PDA line with a new Smartphone and an upgrade of their current A600 Pocket PC.
