According to David Nagel, CEO of PalmSource, the handheld market is “alive and kicking.” And soon it will rumbling as well, thanks to a Palm Powered handheld gaming device expected to be available later this year.
People who primarily use their handheld for playing games will soon have a device designed with them in mind. Unlike other portable gaming devices, the Helix will be able to run Palm OS applications, making it both fun and useful.

Jack the Uni-Psychle is the first release from Discord Studios. It is a sideways scrolling platform game in the style of such classics as Sonic the Hedgehog and the Mario series, with cool music and rapid gameplay. This zany game is for Linux PDAs and our test system is the Sharp Zaurus SL-5600.
The game is quite simple to understand, but not so simple to solve. I generally have limited patience when it comes to these types of games, so obviously I couldn't solve any of the puzzles. Close to all of you have seen this game in some form or another, and you'll know right away if this is something for you to play with.

Macromedia has just released Flash 6 for PPCs. Flash enables developers to deploy rich content in a quick and easy manner. Applications like games are already leveraging Flash and more will certainly be around the corner.
The BenQ G250 Pocket Game Pad is a very unique and exciting add-on for 38xx/39xx iPAQs. The BenQ adds the functionality of a console gaming controller to your mobile PocketPC.

Even on a low-res device the boards are quite aesthetically pleasing, and the interface follows the classic rules of simplicity, allowing you to quickly and easily switch between active games of chess, checkers, and backgammon.
