Now there are rumors abound surrounding the release of PIM (personal information management), email, note taking, drawing and other applications. Of course Sony hasn't released anything official yet, but they've shown a great interest in expanding the feature set of the PSP.

    Sony Adds Web Browser to PSP - Is it a PDA Yet?

    There was a ton of excitement when the PSP was released, a little more when people first found a hack in Wipeout that allowed rudimentary web browsing. In the latest firmware though, Sony has released a full fledged web browser that's actually very functional. With Sony clearly committed to the platform it will be interesting to see if they roll out more PDA oriented applications, like PIM software.
