After months of relative silence, the dam has broken, and a flood of rumors about upcoming palmOne models has come pouring out.
Late last week, several pictures and some additional details of palmOne’s next smartphone were leaked to TreoCentral.
According to this source, the Treo 650 will be quite similar to the current Treo in size and shape, but will include a HiRes screen, a better camera, and Bluetooth.
Additional information and a picture of this smartphone are available in this article.
A couple of sources say that palmOne’s next model won’t be called the Tungsten T4, as many have expected, but instead will be the Tungsten T5. A possible reason for this is the fact that the number 4 is considered to be very unlucky in China and Japan.
In addition, one of these sources gave 1src a description and a picture of the T5. Supposedly, this model will run Palm OS Cobalt and have both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
However, a third source has come forward to say that this description of the T5 is incorrect. This person went on to say that the T5 won’t have Wi-Fi but it will have an amazing 256 MB of memory.
