Building on the momentum from its popular I300, Samsung is rumored to be releasing a sexier unit with a brighter screen this summer. Details are thin, but PDAFrance and Palm Infocenter are both reporting that the new unit will have a 16-bit color screen, replacing the washed out 256. It will also use the CDMA standard for communications.
Other enhancements look to include a new OS (4.1) and up to 16MB in memory. The unit also leverages the virtual graffiti technology, but does not include the Memory Stick option that Samsung is starting to build into some of its other consumer electronics.
