Abidia Wireless brings the eBay auction experience to mobile handhelds, with real-time information about bids won and lost, item pictures, and more. Users can access their eBay watch lists and compare prices of items in other auctions.
The new version 2.5 adds support for Java-based RIM BlackBerry handhelds, in addition to Palm OS, Windows Mobile, and Symbian OS devices.
Support for international eBay sites in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia is also included.
“Abidia Wireless has been developed specifically for devices with small displays and slower processors,” said Mike Burch, CTO at Abidia. “We are excited to bring it to the BlackBerry, a platform where it can really shine. It is a very comfortable fit with the larger screen, thumb pad, and advanced networking capabilities.”
Abidia Wireless is available for as little as $2.49 a month. For more information, visit the Abidia web site.
