A version of NetFront 3.1 for Symbian-based smartphones using the UIQ interface is now available for download.
New features include Smart-Fit Rendering and Rapid-Render, designed to improve the quality and speed of the wireless Web browsing experience.
Other enhancements include support for up to ten tabbed web pages, user-definable shortcuts, text-only viewing, and configurable cache settings. Images and files can also be downloaded with NetFront 3.1.

The application complies with current W3C standards. Compatible phones include the Sony Ericsson P800 and P900.
A fully-functional 45-day evaluation version of NetFront 3.1 for Symbian UIQ 2.x is available from the ACCESS web site.
A version of NetFront 3.1 for Pocket PC was released late last year.
