On Tuesday, new images of what is speculated to be the display of the iPhone 5S were published by Mac Rumors. From an outward design perspective, the iPhone 5S doesn’t appear all that different from its predecessor, but according to these recent images, Apple may have a lot more going on under the hood.
The images reveal a change to the iPhone panel’s design, which allow it to fit on the tweaked logic board from the new 5S. In accordance with earlier images originally leaked from BGR, it seems that the new iPhone will undergo an internal overhaul, which could possibly make room for the long-rumored fingerprint scanner that the iPhone 5S is expected to house.
The iPhone 5S is currently expected to be released sometime later this year.
