Apple Releasing iOS 6.1.3 to Fix iPhone Lockscreen Bug

Users frustrated by a security flaw in Apple’s iOS 6.1 may soon find relief as reports are saying that Apple has released a beta version of iOS 6.1.3 to developers.

Apple Unlock ScreeniOS 6.1 had two major bugs, one that caused problems for users who get their email from Microsoft Exchange, and another that made it possible to bypass the security lock on an iPhone by making and cancelling an emergency call and pressing the home and lock button at the right time.

Earlier this week, Apple released iOS 6.1.2 to fix the Exchange problem, and the company has reportedly made iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 available to developers for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, meaning an update to consumers could be coming in the near future.
