Acer has launched the n10, a nicely featured PDA that comes in at under $300. Casio is now selling the E-1000 in Japan, which targets high-end consumers.
Acer has long been playing both sides of the field with their Palm and Pocket PC devices. Their latest offering attacks the bottom side of the price scale with a sub $300 offering.
The n10 features an Intel PXA 300 MHz processor, 64MB RAM 32MB ROM, SD and CF slots, a 240 x 320 pixel TFT screen and a 1500 mAh battery. Check out the full spec sheet.
Nearby, Casio made the E-1000 available on store shelves in Japan.
The E-1000 feature set is similar to the Acer but it also adds a USB port. For more pictures check out Akihabara News. Neither device is expected to come to the US, but it’s always fun to keep up to date with the goings on in the PDA world.
