WiFiLocations is an application that enables the automatic starting of the Wi-Fi radio in Windows Mobile devices based on cell-ID positioning. Currently in version .6, it supports the following features:
- Specify locations Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth will be activated automatically
- Specify locations where the ringer should be turned off or to vibrate
- Run or close specified program by location
- Custom names for cell-IDs
- Autostart on reboot
WiFiLocations is only compatible with GSM-based Windows Mobile devices at this time. CDMA models use a different, and non-publicized, method for coding the cell-ID that is read by this application.
